AI search visibility analysis
Testing a defined prompt set across selected platforms to see when and how your brand appears.
Service · GEO
Generative search tools summarise what they find about your category and your company. GEO is an evolving practice that aims to make your brand and content easier for those systems to understand, evaluate and reference.
Generative systems don’t rank ten links; they compose an answer from several sources. What they say about you depends on what is available, consistent and credible across the web, including on sites you don’t own. GEO looks at that whole picture: your content, your entity data and the third-party sources these systems cite in your category.
What’s covered
01
Testing a defined prompt set across selected platforms to see when and how your brand appears.
02
Consistent names, descriptions, products and facts across your site, profiles and knowledge sources.
03
Mapping which domains are cited for your category, and where you could reasonably earn a place.
04
Specific claims, data, examples and sources that give a system something concrete to reference.
05
First-party data and named expertise that others can’t copy and are more likely to cite.
06
Covering the questions around your offering, so your brand is relevant to the wider conversation.
07
How competitors are described and cited, and what their visible sources have in common.
08
Repeated sampling over time, because answers change between runs, models and months.
What we don’t promise
Generative systems change frequently, differ between platforms and can give different answers to the same prompt. We measure across repeated samples and report ranges and trends, not single screenshots. No one can guarantee a citation.
There is a large overlap: crawlable, credible, useful pages help in both. GEO adds attention to how your brand is described across the web, which sources are cited in your category, and measurement methods built for variable AI answers.
We agree the platforms with you based on where your audience searches. Common choices include Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT search, Perplexity and Gemini. We record dates and settings because results vary.
It can be a reasonable experiment, but there is limited evidence that major AI search platforms rely on it. It isn’t a substitute for accessible, well-structured pages, and we don’t present it as one.
